 Easy
to use resource libraries
You can find the resources that you need in the very accessible
picture and word banks. You can even add to these resources by
copying your own files into the resource bank folders.
Wide
range of teaching resources
Easiteach Studio is a powerful cross-curricula whole-class teaching
tool which is supplied with a wide range of teaching resources.
The graphics can all be moved, rotated and even animated on the
whiteboard and they include items such as
weather
symbols, electronic
symbols, logic symbols, maps and symbols, biological images, musical
instruments, animals
and insects, plants,
historical
characters and photographs.

| Seamless
integration
Easiteach enables material to be used on both the interactive
whiteboard (in Easiteach) and on pupils' desktop machines (in
Textease). This seamless integration between desktop and whiteboard
creates many exciting possibilities for the whole class to work
on files on the whiteboard, which have been generated by a pupil
at their desktop.

Straightforward
page navigation
Easiteach Studio enables you to move in a step-by-step way through a lesson
or to get to a blank page quickly. You can
even step forwards and back again through a section of your teaching
to review and refresh understanding. Many teachers have identified
being able to return to previous learning in a visual way as a huge

Powerful
on-screen manipulation
Easiteach Studio enables you to move objects - including text and
video - around on the screen. You can rotate them, hide and
reveal them, change their colours, animate and even annotate them.
You can also group objects, so that they move together, or lock them
so that they cannot be moved accidentally during a
lesson.

Helpful
authoring facilities
When you're preparing activities to use with the class, Easiteach
Studio gives you even more options. For example, you can copy
and paste objects, group them together so that they move as one,
or format and arrange texts and graphics.

 Include
spreadsheets and databases
A
major benefit of Easiteach Studio is that it includes spreadsheet and
database functions. You can generate spreadsheets or databases in front
of the class and then ask pupils to add their own data. You can then
generate graphs based on the collected data. Easiteach Studio can combine
databases, spreadsheets, video files, animations, logo-driven turtles
and hyperlinks, all within a single page.

Drive,
annotate and grab screens from other applications
By using the 'glass mode' you can annotate other applications
and grab screen views into Easiteach for training purposes. Glass
mode will be available as a free upgrade.

Storyboard view
You can even look at your activity as a whole and decide whether
the order of what you plan to do is right. You can move pages around or even
duplicate them in a page storyboard window.

New
content services
RM is developing a range of content services for use within Easiteach
Studio. The first of these, Easiteach Literacy, is now available.
This service plugs into the Easiteach platform and adds a toolbar
of Literacy specific teaching tools.
In
addition to the tools within the software, RM has also put together
a suite of literacy resources, which are available as a separate
content service. These resources are comprised of literacy texts
and activities.
